Lindsay has been awarded a Merlin
Over each of the last two years I’ve had the privilege of coaching a Scholar going through the Marketing Academy‘s programme for nurturing young marketing talent. Each year 30 young people compete for free Scholarships to receive world class mentoring, development and coaching (watch this video to find out what the Scholarships are all about). It’s been An Experience to accompany these exceptional young people on their journeys of development as leaders and as human beings, and to watch them as they create a step change in their careers while at the same time creating a new kind of impact. Not only this, but this year I’m honoured to have received, from my Scholar, his one ‘Merlin‘, given to acknowledge the person who most impacted him, or his learning, throughout the year. Merlin is the Marketing Academy’s mascot, the physical embodiment of the Academy’s values, and of the selfless sharing of wisdom, knowledge and inspiration. It’s a humbling reminder of why I do what I do, and how much it matters to me to change the world, one person at a time.
